Bought this to replace my daughter's PCD/Cricket txtm8 (or Verizon Blitz) cell phone battery which developed an intermittent internal short. Charged it all night the first night and the phone was nearly dead when I picked her up at 5 PM. The original "standard" battery was 920 mAH but this battery is 700 mAH or 24% less capacity so the power doesn't last all day.
To make it confusing the mAH rating is not marked on the the battery, instead it is marked 2.6 WH. Which is equal to 2600 mWH divide by 3.7 volts = 702 mAH. Its ohms law for those who don't know.
A premium battery would be at least the same as the original battery (920 mAH) or greater such as 1100 mAH.
My daughter is using this battery for now (and carrying the charger with her) until we get the other battery we ordered the "UTStarcom BATTERY BTR8B Blitz TXT8010".
Don't waste your money on this so called "premium standard" battery that is not premium.
Buy the "UTStarcom BATTERY BTR8B Blitz TXT8010" instead, WHICH IS a 920 mAH battery. Its great deal for less than $9 + $5 shipping here on Amazon. I've priced this battery on other sites costing up to $50 (most sites it about $40).
