This vendor (OEM for Cheap) listed the batteries as new, but they are used. They were not packaged in plastic as a new battery would be. I ordered 2 batteries and paid $25 for overnight shipping as my phone battery had died and I was getting ready to go on a business trip.
I charged the first battery overnight and it would only last for about 30 minutes. I charged it again overnight and the next day it died completely and would not take a charge.
The second battery was DOA, I measured the output. 0 VDC the internal protection circuit had disabled the battery.
I wish I had read the reviews on this vendor. He shipped me recybled trash, not new batteries.

Battery was listed as NEW but had alot of scratches and scrapes on it, like it had been used. Battery life is not good at all.

horrible they sent the wrong battery because they said that they didnt have anymore of the bx40(that I ordered)?? So they scratched out bx40 on the invoice and sent a bx50 which is too big and it is still listed on your web site that they carry the bx40 but my email they sent me says that they dont carry them anymore.. I had to send back the battery in which I still have not recieved my credit and it has been over a week..

July 4, 2009. Bought this battery feb 23 this year. Past month the working time on a full charge has decreased to the point the phone is not usable for more than 5 min.
It was only around $8, but was advertized as new
I think there is a problem here.

New batteries are 30 dollars for a reason I guess. A great deal, but the wear on the battery and it's very short life suggest that this isn't a "NEW" battery as advertised.
