I got the battery yesterday and charged it fully. After minimal texting and talking, the battery is down 2 bars just like the standard battery. There were no instructions included and it is a total waste of money. =(

I now only need to charge the battery every 5-7 days instead of every 2-3 days. The new battery cover fits very nicely and the extra weight gives the phone a better feel.

Purchased this battery for my Alias 2. I am amazed with it's longevity! I fully charged this battery on Friday and 5 days later have only dropped one bar! I don't "power text" but I do my fair share. I also use the phone for music once in a while. If your looking for extra power to reduce the number of charging sessions, this battery will fit the bill!
The extended battery back plate will add roughly 5mm of thickness to the lower 2/3 of your phone. I actually like the thicker phone (with extended battery back plate). It makes it easier for me to hold and open the phone. I store my phone in a holster most of the time so the thickness doesn't bother me that much. I still carry my phone in my pocket once in a while and it doesn't bother me at all when wearing baggy pants.
So in a nut shell: If you do heavy texting/multimedia, or just can't/don't like to charge your phone that often, this battery is a must have!

The battery does last for a very long time. It is worth the money spent, plus then you have your originial and the extended batteries. The only thing is the extended cover plate is slightly larger than it needs to be, makes the phone thicker, and at the top leaves a paper thin gap between the phone and plate, but these are very minor things. You get the trade off, larger and thicker phone (slightly), but also 63% more battery life (1300mHa/800mHa). Well worth it if your a heavy texter/caller or if you go out for a few days and dont want to bring your charger. Thanks for reading!
